Unable to dial phone number 000117 #145

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Try to dial number 000117 to connect to AT&T conference using toll free from
India.
2. The number is not accepted and gets changed to 00117 automatically.
3. So, unable to dial desired number and using alternate phone to dial the same.

What kernel are you running?
2.6.35.10-perf+cm9

It would really help if you could provide a logcat when the problem occurs.
* Grab aLogcat:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jtb.alogcat&hl=en
* Reproduce the problem
* Open aLogcat and save the logcat
* Attach it here

Please provide any additional information below.

I tried adding +91 before 000117 and it does not work and says it is an invalid
number.

If I store in contacts from gmail and sync the number works. But, I am unable
to dial the number directly from phone.

Create a contact in another phone (with no as 000117) and transfer it to your
phone via whatsapp, bluetooth etc..should work fine.

I dialed 00+0117 first, and it got connected to AT&T bridge, then it appeared
as 000117 in call history which I saved as new contact.
