4 years ago This tutorial should really be a better entry point to the XRPL documentation in general.
- It should be renamed to "Get Started with XRP Ledger APIs"
- Should introduce tools, maybe with a live example
- Should show a simple toy/tool (e.g. watching to see what new transactions appear)
- Interactive would be good
Get Started with the rippled API is not exactly a tutorial, but it's sort of holding a seat for one. (It should have prerequisites, steps, etc.)
Probably best to move the "Public Servers" information on the various APIs out into its own page somewhere. It might also be useful to include the default ports that rippled listens on for various interfaces (from the beginning of said file).
Also, some of the content that's currently in the tutorial was also copy-pasted a second time to the "API Conventions" request/response formatting pages, so maybe link those pages for most content, and slim down the tutorial where possible.
