ODrive 3.6 Voltage? #11

What voltage should be selected when ordering the ODrive 3.6?

Are there alternatives to this item? It's currently the most expensive piece of the entire project. Total cost is about $1500 USD for the six pieces of ODrive 3.6. Though, I did find another supplier on Aliexpress that may reduce the price to around $1000 or so.

I bought the 56V version because a 6S lipo will charge up to 25V+

I've not tried any alternatives. I haven't tried the ones on Aliexpress but they are likely to be clones of random hardware versions so the latest firmware may not work correctly.

Thank you! I ordered the Aliexpress 56v version and will test it. I'm working on an updated BOM for folks in the US/North America. I'll share it once complete.

@danielwdunn Have you happened to receive and/or test the Aliexpress clone of the ODrive? Very interested to see your BOM when complete!

I've not tried them, but a lot of them look like the pins aren't in the same place, so they are clones of previous versions of hardware which means the pin mappings will be wrong and not everything will work as expexted.
