Per AWS:

EC2 has detected degradation of the underlying hardware hosting your Amazon EC2 instance (instance-ID: i-04b1650f0655864b4) associated with your AWS account (AWS Account ID: 428632194184) in the us-west-2 region. Due to this degradation your instance could already be unreachable. We will stop your instance after 2019-09-13 05:00 UTC.

This affects ssh.demo.globus.org. It will be migrated asap.
