I followed the install instructions using a clean clone of xvim and even installing with sudo to work around the unsign issue, but it just crashes on launch for me. Is there another step required?

thanks.

Rebooting and retrying the install seems to have worked, but I'm not sure what combination did the trick.

aminroosta commented 7 years ago

Same thing happened for me. In my case rebooting OSX after make command fixed the crash.

jkryanchou commented 7 years ago

+1 My Xcode 8 crashed at launch time.

xilin commented 7 years ago

Rebooting works for me.

jkryanchou commented 7 years ago

I just only reinstall my xcode 8. Does anyone could tell me when xvim could support xcode8?

moophis commented 7 years ago

Rebooting and reinstalling didn't work for me :( still crashing on launching Xcode 8.

jkryanchou commented 7 years ago

@moophis You should totally clean your preinstall xcode8 app first. I guess your xcode8 has not been remove cleanly. Just remove your xcode8 from Application folder to trash.
