YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT PRIVATE #4115

I have this message "YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT PRIVATE" using "Chrome 52.0.2743.116 m" when I go to https sites. I used to have this problem when using GoAgent before and stopped using it. Recently I found about it was reborn as XX-Net so tried it out again. One on laptop (a new one that didn't use GoAgent before), I don't have any problem but on the other one (where I used GoAgent before) I still get this error message.

On the laptop where XX-Net is not working, I tried

  1. deleting the certificate and let a new one be generated
  2. downloading a new one
  3. importing it via Chrome – Settings – Show advanced settings – HTTPS/SSL Manage certificates – Trusted Root Certificate Authorities – Import – Next – File name (CA.crt).

But none of these things worked.

Any suggestions?

delete goagent certificate

delete this folder, then try again data\gae_proxy\certs\

Send email to get@psiphon3.com and you will get another one to access the websites. Psiphon3 is simple but a little slow and not stable.

dou4cc, thanks I'm using Psiphon already.

nly4lov, on both of my computers I'm using SwitchySharp (not SwitchyOmega) and one works and the other has the "YOUR CONNECTION IS NOT PRIVATE" error. Will switching to Omega make a difference? If so, why does it work my computer using SwitchySharp?

SwitchySharp and SwitchyOmega can only run in (or "on"?) one browser. I use cow to filter all the requests on my PC and know nothing about SwitchySharp or SwitchyOmega.

It's interesting that I notice this certificate problem occurs on the same computer when I use Chrome or IE but not Edge.

@chinauser2013 i/m not sure, but i guess it is not because of sharp or omega.
