We should start considering a license that fits the needs of all of my projects - starting with this one. Currently, we are using All-Rights-Reserved which prevents modifications (i.e. forks)

@Tommys64 suggested GPL 3.0 in his PR #12 Maybe you can explain why GPL over MIT or any other license.

the project now uses the MIT license.
