In the 1.12 Version of the mod, buildcraft conversion is currently disabled due to a request from one of the BC Devs. Part of this request was an issue with the quarry being overloaded with too much power. The BC Power System worked in a pulse-based fashion (TODO:check if this is still the case) which causes issues with systems that deliver power continuously.
