kos checker impacting waterfox browser #150

I had mistakenly been using an old version of vintel since I started in provi 0.6.2 which didn't have this issue, then recently got the current version.

I have waterfox browser in background usually with 2 tabs open, the CVA kos checker and twitchtv with an active stream. Since using the stable release of 1.2.3, if I have either of the kos checker options active it directly impacts on waterfox making it trigger a windows not responding state on the twitchtv tab, which takes about 20 seconds to clear. I get this any time I either alt tab or windows key and click the waterfox icon

win7 64bit using waterfox 50.1.0

knee jerk on my part as last change when the issue surfaced was the vintel version I used. Also getting waterfox/twitchtv issues without vintel running, testing with an older version 49.0.2
