After finally tackling the issue of launching Steam games from RetroDECK, I'm now going to look into how to automatically launch RetroDECK when the Steam Deck game mode boots up.
I've looked into the possibility of a systemctl service, but I can't seem to get it to work (used the following as a guide https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/vocyi5/start_syncthing_automatically_on_steamdeck_even/). The best option may be a Decky Loader plugin. I'm going to tinker and play, and will post my successes and failures to this thread.
