Alarm wrong time #44

I have set up reminder in Automotor to be 9 days ahead. But what time of the 
day will it alarm?
And when I open up the specific calendar item for someone's birthday, it shows 
alarm set correctly for day of the birthday, but then shows another alarm set 
for the day before at 11.45 am...how do I stop it doing this?

The reminder alert will always be at the time you set as "Alert Time" (in the 
section "Alert"). The alert you get at 11.45 am the day before is an alert iCal 
automatically puts into each new event. You can turn this off in the iCal 
preferences by removing the checkmark at "Add a default alarm to all new events 
and invitations" (see attached screenshot). After removing this option in iCal 
you have to restart Automator before the changes work.
