As explained in https://github.com/XboxDev/extract-xiso/issues/32#issuecomment-545213567, we might want to provide an option for skipping sectors / bytes.

This would lead to support for redump images.

Generally, I'm not sure if this is too helpful, and it feels like a hack. In the linked comment, I've proposed alternatives that I have personally used in the past.

As you stated in #12 we should be looking to replace this tool with something more modern, I really don't think we should bother with such things at least with extract-xiso as it stands right now.
