Dear developer,

We realised that this issue arose from our incorrect sample data. Because the Participation class was not properly associated and variables in it were not properly stored, it causes the user to be mingling with broken data. The participations in the sample data have not "submitted their attempts". We do accept this as a functionality bug on our side.

However, the features will work as per normal if the user creates his own participation objects through the 'addParticipation' command and which will "submit the attempts" at the same time, thus avoiding this error message shown on the UI (in the screenshots). Since this issue only affects users who use the sample data (which is lowly likely since the target audience will have to ultimately create their own Person, Competition and Participations, this issue should be considered as a low severity.
