Search and email form modal popups are far too heavy #3

The modal popups currently use more unique JavaScript in their implementation than all the rest of the site's scripts combined. Code pulled from an entire animated GUI library is being used to implement a single element. This inflates load times, bandwidth usage, and strain on low-end handsets.

I have a full, from-scratch rewrite for the modal popups planned. It will come whenever I have time to do a full rewrite of the modal popups from scratch.
