Subler is having many new crashes with the version 21 and version 22 updates.
Many times after saving a file... it will report "the file is not found" and
crash. However the file is saved and works perfectly.
Audio conversions are only working once in a blue moon. I am having to convert
the audio with Smart Converter and then add it back into Subler.

0.23 fixes a lot of issues.
And "Audio conversions are only working once in a blue moon" is not a valid bug
report. Please describe a way to reproduce the issue.

What a shitty update, never had any problems till this update appears. Every
single time i get the following message. Tried the 'broken component' and tried
all of the sound settings..nothing works anymore.

@Jordi, if you are getting the "Something went wrong in the audio converter" I
believe that is due to Perian being set to (by default) DPL II in System
Preferences. Switch it to Multichannel (ignore the warning) and it should work.

@damiog I can confirm the update A52Codec.component in post #12 does still fix
the issue. I'm on Mountain Lion, installed the latest versions of subler and
Perian tonight and experienced audio converter issue. Replaced the codec and
with no problems, I did not have to change the DPL II setting (and it is in
fact set to DPL II).

I am experiencing this problem with SOME (not all) MKV files in OS X 10.9.3
(and was in 10.9.2). I have perian and the a%2 codec installed, and it gives
the "something went wrong in the audio converter" error. 'MP4 Tools' seems to
work fine. Can this be worked out by looking at a log?

I just moved to Mav and had the same problems. I googled "a52 osx" and found a
download page. I downloaded and installed, restarted Subler, and I'm off to the
races.
diamog, is there any reason you can link this into the binary directly?

Having similar issues to some above. After installing the a52 codec, and
setting to multi-channel, it seemed to work to perfection for a 3.5GB .mkv
file. Option for AAC, 6 ch was present during that remux. I just tried a
different ~750MB .mkv file. Attempting to remux this ends up in an "Something
went wrong in the audio converter" error. This time, only AAC, 2 ch is shown. I
made sure Perian was still set to multi-channel. Not sure why it would work for
one and not the other.
Anybody have any suggestions? I am running OSX 10.8.5 and Subler 0.25.

In case anyone else is still getting the error message even after installing
the new version of A52Codec -- make sure you've removed all older copies. I
installed the new one globally in /Library but still had the old one in my user
account's ~/Library, and the old one took precedence.
Thanks for Subler, Damiano. It's so much more useful these days than HandBrake
;-)
