QuickTime X send the file to QuickTime 7 #775

What steps will reproduce the problem?
On some file the only fact to open an x264.mov file (exported from Compressor) 
with Subler and save it to a M4V file without any modifications
Then when the m4v file is opened with QuickTime X it ask you to install 
QuickTime 7 if you don't already have it; or won't open it.
it is a file exported with Compressor with chapter markers and image for each 
chapter.

Also Compressor export a Timecode track with the file is this usefull ?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
File opened with QuickTime X is one of the main purpose of subler 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Subler 0.26 on Mac OS X 10.9.5

It would be really easy to see what's going wrong if you send me a sample mov 
file.

It works fine here… the timecode is not needed btw..

But it seems it rewrites the jpeg track, I'll try to fix it in the next few 
days.

you can open the m4v (done with subler from my mov) with QuickTime X ?
strange... 
anyway this is strange because it doesn't always do this with QT X on some 
other files
and I use the exact same preset (codec bitrate and audio...etc.) from 
compressor.
looks like a glitch.?
anyway I love subler to make the mp4 compatible to ios device, to edit metadata 
and most of all to add another langage audio track...

Your issue is the jpeg track. If you remove it or let subler generate a new one 
it will work.

Hello
I've still got the same problem with the new Subler 0.31 (and also 0.30)
and I really need to have "personnal" picture preview for most of the 
chapters...
is there a way ?

Your sample works here with 0.31. Make sure you have the "create preview 
images" check in the prefs, or it won't reconnect your jpeg track.
