Subs Hard Code? #79

This isn't really an issue but more of cry for help. First off, I love this
app. I was so sick of firing up vmware just to use YAMB. Anyway, I am able
to swap 6CH for 2CH and add in the subtitles with much success. However, I
was hoping that when I muxed with a .srt that the result would be hardcoded
subs. Can subler do this? Is there a setting I am missing?

No, hardcoded subs would need a trascoding of the video, and subler was
developed
only because there were no app to add soft subtitle to mp4.

I see. Looks like if the source is an mp4 I'd have to re-encode as another MP4
for
hardcoding....blech. Thanks for your help and your great software.

Hardcoding always need a re-encode. Soft subtitle are much better ;)
