On Mojave, I've been creating .SRT files by dragging an MKV file to Subler, adding only the subtitle track, which is almost always of type PGS, then saving to a .m4v file. This would OCR the subtitle, convert it to Tx3g format, and produce an MPEG4 file containing just a subtitle, which I would then export to .SRT.
I've installed Monterey fresh, not an upgrade, and now, every time I do this operation, Subler instantly crashes on saving the .m4v file. Obviously something is different between the two installations. I suspect that there's a missing component on the Monterey installation. Any guidance?
