@FireEmerald Alot of people are going to be angry about this for sure.
Despite this new rule they haven't terminated my account despite me using adblock and i used it for years. also open.spotify.com doesn't play ads because ublock origin works for me strangely and i remember it not working previously.
- circumventing or blocking advertisements in the Spotify Service, or creating or distributing tools designed to block advertisements in the Spotify Service TOS
EZBlocker only mutes the ads, which you could also manually do. Therefor I wouldn't say, that EZBlocker is an actual Ad Blocker.
EZBlocker can rewrite your "hosts" file to block domains, but I wouldn't consider it Ad blocking either, because it will block whole domains and it would be fairly hard to identify if the domains inside the "hosts" file are actually meant to block spotify ads.
In the meantime if you are scared to lose your account: Just backup your liked songs and playlists using a tool. For example: SpotMyBackup
This is a NON-Issue. This program does not block ads. This kicks ASS

Sure you and I would see it that way, but would Spotify? Also, I just got my account back after they disabled it, saying I downloaded stuff. I have ONE Spotify account, logged into ONE PC alongside EZ. And I swear I was not downloading or doing anything else.
Just as a site note, Spotify changed their Terms of Service to explicitly disallow any usage of Ad Blockers. If they are mad they could ban in the future accounts for using ad blockers.
