All amiibo tags must use NTAG215 tag types. As far as I've seen, the keychains and cards included with the NFC boards are not NTAG215 type. NFC has dozens of different NFC tag types, but only amiibo data written to NTAG215 tags will work. This is a limitation from Nintendo.
The good news is that NTAG215 stickers are usually cheap- I buy them in quantities of 100 for about $22USD. When you have blank NTAG215 tag, Wifiibo will automatically read the UID for you and handle all the other encoding.
Hi, I have recently used Wifibo to Flash my dumped Amiibo BIN Files. I have been using NFC Sticker Tags to do this, The NFC Writer came with 2 Key chain Tags and 2 Cards, Both with NFC, Although i cannot seem to write to them with Wifibo. I have heard i need to get a UID Number from the Tags and Cards and use them somehow. All of the tutorials i have found are either hard to understand or are uncompatable with my hardware. Any links, images or help would be appreciated. Thank you - Daemonso (Jack).
