No idea what the problem is or why it fails.
See if it happens with vanilla Notepad2.
i install the ttf, go under view -> standardfont , change the font to vga ttf and the left sided Fonts be the size smaller and therewith fits not correctly . because the size is a bit smaller as should be. If i set up the Standartfont to 12px , it is the sitz of the linenumbers 11px and therewith it is not correctly displayed . the linenumbers should be able for setting up as own config size or an other font with an own size .

@blackcrack View -> Customize Schemes... -> double click on "Default Text" -> Margins and Line Numbers -> change what you want

notepad2 it is the size of font on the line numbers a size too small and does not display correctly .
@gwarser , thank you for you help, it had works :) The Notepad2 it's slowly so mighty .. huhh.. so, thank you in any case for you help it has :100: % worked :+1: thank you !
idea:
1st: We should have an Notepad2 in wxbasic. (wxbasic it's damn small and 2nd works in any system like qt, only smaller :) http://www.wxbasic.net/samples and therewith works notepad2 in any system
2rd: we should have an Community weppage with an wiki and Forum .
3rd: it is able for use an own font in the subfolder : "font:./subfonts/blabla.ttf " or "font: fonts/blabla.ttf " for use this notepad2 in different NT sessions, also portable sessions. Therewith it is possible for use different fonts with different syntaxes also Asccii Art fonts and pure Programming-fonts
