WingsXI updated info #9

I can't find any official channel to requesting this update rather than just a PR here.

I'm not trying to sweep the original note under the rug by renaming this file, WingsXI has just always been the name of the server so I'm proposing we update the name/links accordingly. If you'd like me to put that note back until some internal discussion is had, I'm fine with that.

There is no need for any kind of internal discussion. Their staff is banned from this community permanently. That is not going to change regardless of anything going forward.

The listing page for their server will remain as it is, with just the warning and a basic link to their site/Discord.

The staff staff you are referring to are no longer associated with the project.

Sorry but we've heard that excuse multiple times in the past. The block is not going to change.

The name has been updated in the listing, but the advertisement page will remain as it is.

Hopefully you'll reconsider your stance on this. Caelic and I both left Wings quite a while ago at this point. Twilight and Mowford are the only two admins for Wings now, and have full ownership of all aspects of the server. As far as I understand they are both in good standing here. Whatever issue you have with me and Caelic shouldn't be reflected on them, they're simply trying to continue what we started as a labor of love.

The stance against this server is final and not going to change. The people that have been involved in this server have been a source of problems across the community as a whole, not just their own server.

The server was given more than enough chances in the past to do better, and every single time, the outcome was the same. Every single time, the excuses were always the same as to what happened, who was at fault, and so on. It's the same song and dance every time. This server has been a constant source of childish antics, drama and lying.

It does not matter to us either who wants to claim is in charge this week. Again, we've heard it all before, multiple times. And again, the same results always happen. The same problematic people show back up, cause issues again, and thus the server gets blocked again.

At this point, we are over it and have absolutely no interest in ever giving it another chance.

Best of luck to whoever is claiming to be in charge this time, but the community does not believe the result will be any different and the cycle will most likely repeat.
