I have 2 attributes:

COLOuR
SIZE I have 1 photo for each colour. Every time i set the image for a variation, and i add the variation to product, it duplicates image on media gallery, even if it still exist (in this case, ti rename the image adding -1 at the and of the name). So i have 1 image for each of the combination, even if the VariationImage is the same!

i have found the solution. It must be assigned the id of the image, not the src.
