dmesg is filled with [ 422.164884]: SurfaceSerialHubDriver::Warning, received data with unknown tc 2, cid 1 [ 422.690667]: SurfaceSerialHubDriver::Timeout waiting for response
but the command sudo dmesg | grep "SurfaceLaptop"
returns nothing.
Also, yes I have verified that the kexts are properly configured in my .plist file, that they are ordered as per the README and that the old VoodooI2C kexts were removed. I've got the .acl file in the ACPI folder (I've tried without it as well)
Here's my config.plist
Same. my surface laptop 3 stop working after the aug 26 surface firmware update.
@SmartBoy84 I need the output of sudo dmesg | grep -E "SurfaceS|SurfaceB|SurfaceH"
but IMMEDIATELY after login, and also please install DebugEnhancer.kext
to get full logs during the boot time.

@bitoy81 Your problem is not the same with theirs, they have SL1 or 2 whose keyboard is not currently confirmed to be supported.
@SmartBoy84 Sorry for the late reply. Try the new test build in this issue #63 as SL1 and 2 uses the same logic for keyboard and also the same UART device(9d27). Your problems are very likely to be the same one, so I will close this issue and we will discuss there. PS: Please ensure that you DELETE the old driver before adding the new one, because I've seen something very strange (should not happen in new driver) in your attached logs.
For your battery, it should be working, if the new test build still fails for battery, we can have a look at it here.
I've made an issue for this before however wasn't able to respond due to lack of time.
Here it is: the latest driver doesn't work at all. Even trackpad gestures (which work fine with stock VoodooI2C) are broken (trackpad still works). Battery indication and keyboard isn't working at all.
I'm on a surface laptop 1 running mac os Big Sur. The output of the command
sudo dmesg | grep VoodooI2C
is nothing. My device is9d27
If you could help me get this to work, it would be a childhood dream come true sir!
