Windows capturing a desktop do not update the resolution when application is launched, resulting in weird sizing behavior.
Provide steps to reproduce the bug:
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Start of with initial resolution (eg 4096x2048)
Launch XS and add a window capturing the desktop.
Save the profile and close all VR.
Change desktop to an ultrawide resolution (eg. 5120x1440).
Reopen XS and restore the profile.
Show the overlay and resize the desktop window.
Hide the overlay.
Show the overlay.
Note the desktop is now super tiny and you have to resize every time the overlay is opened.
Expected behavior:
What do you expect to happen, rather than what does happen?
Currently the desktop capture windows must be deleted and remade between resolution changes to prevent weird behavior. Ideally this can be avoided.
Output Log:
You can find your output log at C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Xiexe\XSOverlay\
You can find the uWindowCapture and uDesktopCapture log in the XSOverlay install directory.
Please attach your logs to the issue.
Seems like it might be sizing in the configuration. I had used a previous desktop capture after moving to a new monitor. Deleting the desktop and spawning a new one makes things a lot happier.
