[Beta 626] Freeze when running XSO beta #297

Describe the bug in detail: While running XSO beta, I noticed that my wrist overlay had disappeared, and XSO was not responding to the layout mode binding. I had to restart it to recover.

Provide steps to reproduce the bug: Unknown.

Expected behavior: XSO shouldn't just disappear?
