Having integrated gpu on processor makes dedicated gpu not show in performance graph #313

Open jukefr opened 7 months ago

Describe the bug in detail: I just installed a ryzen 9 7900x in my computer.

I have a gtx 1070ti.

It used to show the gtx on the graph meter but now it just shows the ryzen's igpu (all at 0%)

Provide steps to reproduce the bug: Have a ryzen 9 with igpu and a dgpu (like a gtx 1070ti in this case)

Open performance graph

Expected behavior: The app should display the dedicated gpu, or the gpu with the most usage as said in #114

Not sure if there was a regression or if its something to do with the cpu being fairly new.

Output Log: output_log_2023-11-10__12.39.05.txt

Additional Information: logs seem to suggest they see the dedicated gpu but for some reason the bars display the igpu

285 also mentions this, seems to be a regression since #114 or something of the sort

+1 on this issue. I have 2 GPUs:

When looking at the overaly, all metrics show up except for the GPU and VRAM usage as it appears to indicate it's trying to display the metrics for the AMD graphics card that is unused.

In a pinch, I'd be happy having a config flag in the overlaySettings.json file to tell it which GPU to display if it's not in the UI or automatically determined 🙏

Should be fixed on the next beta release
