Maybe potentially fixed - you will need to test this for me in the upcoming beta release, which will be dropping shortly.
it's not fixed in the beta! rip
This bug still exists in the latest release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4_Wq21bIKk In the video you can clearly see that laser pointer and the mouse are not matching up except in the center of the window. This gets worse the smaller the window is.

Ah, this is unfortunate to see. Is this all windows that aren't desktop captures or does this only affect certain applications?
In my testing I wasn't able to find a repro case for this. I see you're using Firefox, does this happen 100% of the time if you pop out twitch chat in a firefox window?
Issue still exists in lastest version on steam.
I've only reproduced this bug in Clicker Heroes 2 so far.
-Launch game (not in full screen or maximized, works fine in those cases) -Switch an overlay to only capture the game window -When you move your cursor around, the mouse position isn't scaled correctly for the window. -The mouse matches the cursor correctly in the top left corner, and gets progressively more off as you move it away from the corner -It seems like the scale is off by some factor of window size -> screen size or something, idk
This effectively makes the window unusable, but can be worked around by maximizing the window, because then the scale matches and the cursor lines up.
I was unable to reproduce the bug with any other windows I had open at the time
