V2 GPS #141

The GPS on the V2 watch was locking on to satellites however now it will not...

It picks up the time fine with in seconds and the date and keeps GPS time fine,

I did wonder if there was an interference so run against 3 other GPS modules which all worked fined.

Iv been testing using tttgo T watch lib basic unit example then all the other usual settings,

So we know it was working initially We know the TX and RX is working We know its picking up GPS time. We know that the location of use RX from Sat's as other GPS modules work

Same program same watch just stopped locking on to satalites...

Will try and run tinygps++ lib away from TTGO environment to test but it would be good to know if any one else has or is having this issue.

2nd update,

Still no sat lock after leaving outside for 1hr

Have run the stand alone gps++ lib via serial and the same result..

My though is the GPS is currppted

@lewisxhe on the GPS Module it's picking up time but is this due to the over air opdates from towers as its instant rather than the actual satalite system...

Problems was hardware, the cable for the GPS runs under the watch strap at the top the fine cable in the core was broken so it was touching on and off hence the intermittent issue...

Watch now getting Sat's and connection again
