I was quite surprised when I stumbled upon your version of AREPL on the /r/python subreddit. I'm not sure if you're aware, but open source etiquette is to preferably fork the repo and make a PR with your changes back into the original repo, or to let the maintainer know that you are making a fork (assuming the maintainer is still active).
That being said, I'm glad you like idea of AREPL enough to adapt it for your own purposes, and you have some good ideas in your approach. If you ever want to talk about real-time code evaluation or are curious about how AREPL code works feel free to reach out to me.
