I kept seeing the error scroll by and forgot about it but just doing other tasks on Ubuntu Budgie (just happens to be the flavor I am on) i am seeing "ERROR support status not detected" and the scripts run anyway (that doesn't seem right)
also it detects jammy as debian? (Ubuntu 22.04) ... something is really wrong there
