Enabling uViewer USB setting breaks Goldleaf USB #82

Closed NikoofDeath closed 4 years ago

Presumably this issue extends beyond Goldleaf, Goldleaf was just the case I noticed it in. Using uLaunch v0.2, enabling the uViewer USB setting (and of course reinstalling) makes the USB functionality in Goldleaf completely non functional. If I run uViewer before opening Goldleaf, it will show a usb connection in Goldleaf, but have nothing show up when trying to browse PC in Goldleaf. If I don't run uViewer before opening Goldleaf, no USB is detected at all by Goldleaf, nor is it detected by uViewer. So the two basic cases for reproduction are for Goldleaf:

  1. Boot with uViewer USB setting enabled
  2. Connect USB cable to PC
  3. Try to use Goldleaf USB functionality and for uViewer:
  4. Boot with uViewer USB setting enabled
  5. Connect USB cable to PC
  6. Open Goldleaf
  7. Exit Goldleaf
  8. Try to connect uViewer

It should also be noted that the "Nintendo Switch" device, with libusbk driver, still appears when dealing with this issue.

This is known. And ulaunch even warns you about it. Same issue with goldleaf and sysdvr.

Where does ulaunch warn about it? All I get is "You must enable this if you want to use the PC screen viewer (uViewer). It is not necessary otherwise. Do you want to enable it?"

Known, don't use two applications which use USB at the same time

(not something I can fix, ask Nintendo)
