There is some overlap between the Contour and Istio labs, because we're doing blue/green deployments in both. Although the Contour lab is a bit more focused, so there is also value in that before moving into the added complexity of Istio.
With regards to Istio... perhaps consider replacing that with a higher graduation status in the CNCF (Linkerd), or maybe swap this out with a chapter about Dapr, which is also very relevant nowadays.
