This would replace the "clear messages" functionality, and works well with the new threads feature.

Clear messages has been implemented in v4.1.4 https://docs.warbot.dev/Changelogs/v4.0/v4.1.4

Due to limitations in how threads are managed, and the lack of interest in this feature, this feature request is being abandoned.
