Description

ok, i understand that this might be a big undertaking, but im currently moving from only having a single server to a multi server network using velocity as a proxy and it would be amazing to use this bot for the entire server network chat.

the thing is that i don't want separate chats for the different servers using multiple bots; but one general chat where both people from the multiple minecraft servers can talk with each other across them, as well as to and from the discord channel.

i have tried other mods that are aiming to to this, but after using them they are mostly underwhelming with bad formatting and lesser customization / features than this one, especially on the discord server / bot side:

for example spicord + huskchat in this case i feel like spicord is the thing that is holding huskchat back, where the formatting and discord side is terrible. so making this mod compatible with velocity and using huskchat to link the global chat to discord would be nice

https://github.com/WiIIiam278/HuskChat https://github.com/Spicord/Spicord

here is another mod that tries to do the same thing https://modrinth.com/plugin/velocitydiscord

of course all of this might just be out of scope and need an entire new mod, but wanted your thoughts nonetheless

This is interesting, since my server is also a multi-server powered by Bungeecord.

I will take a look at it, since I have been planning to rewrite the existing multi-server feature for a while now and make it compatible with more mod loaders (proxies are a good idea too). I will deal with the existing issues first though.

In the meantime I can only recommend you try DMCC's multi-server feature first to see if it is compatible with HuskChat.
