Thank you for your report. The note was designed to warn users, as if they cleared and exit the app, the data would be lost forever.

Reason for disagreement: The developer's response did not address the issue. Yes, it is a warning, but it is still an inaccurate piece of information (since a clear command can be undone, so data is not unretrievable). This means a user may still misunderstand the clear commands behavior which may hinder usage.
