Hidden toolbar after maximize from taskbar (icon) #39

After double click on the icon in taskbar, RSSOwlnix is showed and the main toolbar is hidden. Can you remove this old bug?

cannot reproduce: what is check at menu / tools / preferences / view for you? do you mean the tray icons where also the clock is? or why would you double click the taskbar icon when one click is enough to get any window back? im on win7 not sure if win10 has other functionality.

Windows 7 + checked box (2/4/5/6) + double click Yes near clock. After a long time of course, random.

You can look it, use the software ;) Minimize and have new feeds... you will see ^^

cannot reproduce a state where both taskbar and tray icon are missing.

state: taskbar icon yes, tray icon no
action: minimize
state: no taskbar, yes tray
action: double click tray icon
state: yes taskbar, no tray

thats how it is supposed to work. no problems after 10 tries.

Could this be due to a language, or windows style/theme?

Yes there is a language file.

I have an other problem possibility: the toolbar is here but moves to right...

if you talk about issue #55 talk there not here. or do you mean you successfully reproduced this issue #39?

I have the same problem, it's a little annoying. Whenever i have RSSOwlnix minimized to tray, and then i open it (however i have to open it after some time, about 10-15 minutes), there is no toolbar with New, Undo, Update etc... especially Mark All Read which i used all the time. I have to click on the left panel with feeds, then toolbar appears. I think i have try everything in toolbar setup including tempering with workbench.xmi (deleting, only for read etc.) from issue #55.

same problem here, sometimes toolbar is hidden, i must open customize toolbar and click on ok to get it back

@Xyrio: When the toolbar is hidden, go to the menu (Show -> Toolbar), and unselect the toolbar and the toobar is showed now. Wait the next time where the toolbar is hidden a new time, and now select the toolbar in the menu, the toolbar is showed now. Same cycle...

Same problem here, using 2.8.0. I close the window thereby sending it to the system tray. When I open it again immediately after, the toolbar is still ok. Opening it after some minutes (don't have an exact value; maybe it also depends on having new feed items, but I don't think so), the toolbar is gone. Clicking on another tab brings back the toolbar.

I also noticed that "View > Toolbars > Main Toolbar" doesn't have any effect. I can deactivate it in the menu, but it's still being shown. The menu item for the feed toolbar on the other hand works as expected.
