datapacks? #6

Hi there!

Looking at the cursepage you mention the use of datapacks to tweak sounds etc.

However I'm unsure on how to disable sounds without just deleting them (which isn't an option for modpacks). Further, how would I remove sounds that are nested with multiple other sounds - for example the player hunger sound?

Overall I really like the mod, but some of these sounds are jarring/disturbing.

Press STRG + I ingame. You can adjust the volume of EVERY single sound. you can even adjust the volume on mods. there you also can MUTE every sound too.

STRG - thats Ctrl key. Got it.

This works for removing sounds, but the zombie mobs for example are now just silent - I'm looking to revert them to vanilla. Is there anyway to disable them via datapack or config?

Hey, just wanted to check if you'd had a chance to check the above and had any suggestions - or if this is something you dont have time for right now, in which case I'll close the issue.

Sinuisan, I know this post is very old but if you are still looking for a fix I had a similar issue and wanted the vanilla sounds back and the in game menu would crash my game, but if you just make a resource pack that only replaces the sounds you want with the vanilla sounds and put it at the top of the resource packs those sounds will be used.
