Unable to see UK rating / certification #1898

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Update moviejukebox.properties file in YAMJ root folder with imdb.getCertificationFromMPAA=false imdb.preferredCountry=UK

I also updated the mpaa_pg.png image as described in skins/default/html/pictures/certificates/_readme.txt, but I expect this is used later in the process.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect UK certification, but see US certification

What version/revision of YAMJ are you using? On what operating system?

2.3 BETA revision 2010 (as used in Y2M - YAMJ to Mede8er - V1BETA7 64-bit) Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit, SP1

What skin are you using?

default

What device are you using YAMJ on? Networked Media Tank, PlayonHD, Other?

Ultimately, the YAMJ output will be used on a Mede8er MED500X, but I run YAMJ on a Intel Core2 4300 PC.

Please provide any additional information below.

When scraping a sample movie Ugly Truth (2009), I get the following in my Ugly Truth (2009).xml

<id moviedb="imdb">tt1142988</id> ... <certification>R</certification>

When looking up this information on http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt1142988/, the UK certificate is shown as "15"

Certification: USA:R (certificate # 44576) / Ireland:16 / Mexico:B15 / Singapore:NC-16 / South Korea:18 / Portugal:M/12 / Netherlands:12 / UK:15 / Australia:MA / New Zealand:R16 / Norway:A / Switzerland:10 (canton of Geneva) / Switzerland:10 (canton of Vaud) / Argentina:13 / Japan:R15+ / Sweden:Btl / Brazil:14 / Philippines:R-13 (MTRCB) / Taiwan:R-12 / Peru:14 / Germany:12 / Malaysia:18PL

Same happens on 10 other sample movies.

This works for me. I'm not using the Mede8or skin, so I don't know if any settings are changed by the skin, but you should check at the top of log file to ensure that your settings have taken effect.

Also, if you've made this change after your XML has been generated you will need to regenerate the XML

I added the UK cmdb settings to the moviejukebox.properties file in the root.

There does not appear to be a reference to this properties file, however, these properties appear to be picked up in the Mede8er skin, because I can see them in the skin's settings (see attached).

However, the log file suggests that these settings have NOT been picked up. I will make the Mede8er team aware.

I have now added the settings to the ./properties/moviejukebox-default.properties file and the process works perfectly. I know I should not use this file as it gets overwritten, but I can paste the settings back in again if it does.

Yes, I have completely deleted the Jukebox folder with all the XML files before rerunning YAMJ with the new settings.

Please let me know if I should use any alternative methods than to modify ./properties/moviejukebox-default.properties?
