YAMJ uses runtime from IMDb instead of mediainfo when an .nfo file is present #2471

Original issue 2472 created by Omertron on 2012-09-03T14:09:13.000Z:

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Create nfo file with <movie> </movie> tags.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? For some reason, YAMJ seems to pull the runtime of movies from IMDb instead of using the output from mediainfo (in which case it will read in minutes instead of hours and mins) when an nfo file with more than just an imdb link is present. For example with customised titles (Extended, DC etc). This means that extended versions, director's cut versions and so forth get the wrong runtime listed. This forces me to include <runtime> in the nfo file, which is annoying.

What version/revision of YAMJ are you using? On what operating system? R3150, Win7

What skin are you using? Eversion.

I noticed this as well after adding some new TV shows with the commercials removed, still showing 60minutes for the episode and was wondering how this was possible.

TV Shows are taken from TheTVDb, otherwise it's pretty much the same
