Original issue 2687 created by Omertron on 2013-10-11T07:30:21.000Z:

Sorry, I am unable to reopen issue 2684, so I am opening a new one. Correcting mjb.recheck.mindays to mjb.recheck.Mindays did not solve the issue.

What steps will reproduce the problem? For rechecking I have set the following parameters : mjb.recheck.XML=true mjb.recheck.Days=1 mjb.recheck.Mindays=1 mjb.recheck.Max=50 mjb.recheck.Unknown=true

What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Rechecking for xml files does not happen. I even forced creation and modification date of an xml file to 30 days back - it still does not recheck. Rechecking of UNKNOWN and in case of a newer .NFO file works fine.

What version/revision of YAMJ are you using? On what operating system? r3757, Windows 7

What skin are you using? default

What device are you using YAMJ on? Networked Media Tank, PlayonHD, Other? NMT

Please provide any additional information below.

Did some more investigation : xml file is timestamped 06.10.2013 15:37:03 (dd.mm.yyyy, 24h format) If I force the system date and time out as far as 14.10.2013 15:38 (i.e. 8 days or more), rescan happens. Setting it to less than 14.10.2013 15:37 results in no rescan. All this is regardless of what I pass as recheck.Days. Also, the scan still happens even when I set recheck.Mindays=14 (it shouldn't). Also, the scan does not happen when I set recheck.Days=0. This is also incorrect - in the Wiki it says "0 (Zero) disables this check and will always rescan the files." Setting recheck.Days=20 disables the scan, which is correct.

So it seems recheck.Mindays has no effect at all, and recheck.Days is overruled by something else if it is less than 8 days (?) and behaves incorrectly when set to 0.

My own stupidity : instead of renaming recheck.mindays to recheck.minDays, I renamed it to recheck.Mindays

Apologies - please set to Invalid
