Start failed. Error -1 #75

In theory, I already have all the files and ROMs well located, their paths too, also a saves folder where the ROMs are., etc. At first, I got a message as if it was starting and everything was going well, but suddenly I got this error: Start failed. Error -1. The message doesn't provide me with any information, so I don't know where to start in trying to find a solution

Did you figure this out? I am having the same issue right now I was previously using a different forwarder (Forwarder3DS) and having the same issue. I thought maybe the problem was with the original .nds file so I deleted that file and used a different website to download the rom. That didn't work so I looked up the error code on google. I found a website for the download of YANBForwarder. Thinking maybe something was suddenly wrong with my forwarder I started trying to download this one. While having some difficulty figuring things out for the new forwarder, I ended up here at your post. Now I know that my forwarder was not the issue and I am even more confused as to what is going on. I did see something about only being able to have 40 titles or whatever on your home screen but again I'm not convinced this is the problem either. I am currently moding my 3DS and my friend's 2DS. I have put a lot of games on my device but I have only put a few on his and I am getting the same error on both of our devices. If the issue was how many titles have been added my device should have an error and his should work but they are both giving errors. I have tried everything I can think of and am having no luck with anything. If you did find a solution please reply and let me know. If not and I end up finding one first, I will write another comment here for you.

Update: I figured it out you have to have/keep the .nds file on your sd card. When choosing the file in the converter you need to chose it from your sd card. Also make sure you have selected to have the ROM path auto generated. I have my .nds files in sd/roms/nds so this would be the path that it would need to take to open the game. I hope this helps.

my 3ds is having the same problem, i think? its just loading into a black screen and kicking me back to the homescreen
