This issue represents the cross-team discussion around what the Webservice actually does. Last semester we came to the conclusion that it most likely does nothing, but with the discovery of the front-end needs the astronomical API to connect to the control room further investigation is warranted to ensure no loss of functionality when this is taken off of AWS.
