Addressbar drop down arrow covered by the Min button when Maximized. #219

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Maximize the window
2. Presumably All Buttons in the Menubar

What is the expected output?
Not to have any buttons or the address bar, under the FF stock minimize button.
I would love to be able to set the length of the Address bar and solve it
myself by entering something like (Address bar max length - x).

What do you see instead?
A portion of the Address bar is hidden under the minimize button. Since I have
a 4th button to swap monitors appended to all windows, I use the stock
Min/Max/Close buttons.

What version of "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus" addon are you using?
2.7.3

What version of Firefox?
19

On what operating system?
Win 7 x64 Professional

You should have a look on this:
http://userstyles.org/styles/66071/hctp-titlebar-button-box-fix

This is a userstyle that fixes some problems with margins and paddings with
HCTP. I see you're using the navigation bar as the upper bar; if you show the
code of the userstyle, there are a group of sections at end for each of the
bars that could be used as the upper bar, one of them for the navigation bar
you're using, and in that section there's a padding-right value you can use to
adjust the starting position from the right of the navigation bar on which the
items can be placed, excluding min-max-close buttons group which are not
governed by this option. You'll need to increase the value to make room for the
extra button at the left of the minimize button, you have.

I appreciate the input. It does seem to have been fixed or it fixed itself.
Whatever the case may be my issue has been rectified. Should it reoccur, I
shall keep this in mind.
