Roll-up the entire header, like on the Android ff, at least as an option.
This is LONG overdue, especially for sites like Facebook, especially on
widescreens, but should still default to off (for the desktop versions), and
also pop the top right back in place whenever the mouse hits topside, and
always scroll back down right away, without needing to scroll to top.
Any remote fixed header should also scroll right along together with the local
header(s), and also default to off, but the remote headers and the local
headers should be separate options, and I would gladly take either!
An example of such roll-screens (minus the auto-scroll functionality) can be
manually generated using HCTP in combination with QuickToolbars 1.1.5, and is
in fact where the idea came from (i.e., has long been very manual).
Already suggested rolling desktop earlier today in response to a random ff
survey, and also did mention your HCTP style as an essential element for the
desktop version of roll, due to the collapsing corners (ff-key and
win-docking). My suggestion was for a built-in rolling desktop, like on their
android version of ff, but most of the credit for any such reverse migration
squarely belongs to you and your desktop add-on.
They would never give us as many other pixel-shaving options as you do, and may
never even see the potential, without having your corner on the corners, so
this request is in response to knowing where credit belongs.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. This is an option request, not any problem that would be mentioned.
2. There is a very minor potential exit problem with my ff, not at all
connected to your add-on, but the possible connection is mentioned for this
early stage in light of perhaps an increased usage of your add-on.
3. That is, sometimes after using large pages (e.g., going way back on facebook
feed, repeatedly loading larger and larger page portions), there is a random
windows error after later closing ff. Again, rare, minor, and probably not even
related, but included here mainly for any preventional purposes.
