"You've been updated" page will not go away #243

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.enabling  ff hide-caption-title bar-plus
2.opening Firefox
3.restarting Firefox

What is the expected output? my home page and no other 

What do you see instead? "You've been updated to a new version of 'Hide Caption 
Titlebar Plus' addon!" everytime for years now

What version of "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus" addon are you using?

What version of Firefox? ff 28

On what operating system? windows 7

- Please provide any additional information below.

- Please provide your system info by using this url (with installed hct+): What 
does this mean?
chrome://hidecaptionplus/content/system_info.html  (can be copy/pasted as
text also)

- If there are visual issues, please provide also screenshot/s (preferred

things i have tried
i have tried clearing th cookies n restarting ff[firefox],
i have tried uninstalling ff n re-installing ff,
i have tried removing everything personal from ff including all preferences n 
other add-ons.
i have tried setting th customize buttons differently several different ways.
all this to no avail. there has to be a way in th about:config page to stop 
this annoying behavior. i am tired of seeing th same message everytime i start 
my browser,
 please HELP

How do u make this page stop loading at startup of th browser please!

still u have not answered how to stop this page from loading every startup of 
th browser. u must know. additional info is irrelevant, as it has done this for 
years in other words versions of ff 25.0 thru current 29.0.1 on windows xp pro 
n windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. i cant be th only one having this issue, i'm just 
th only one taking th time to tell u about it.

please just tell me how to block this page from loading
