Are you saying that auto-forward to HTTPS does not work, but regular detection
(manual forward)does?
I just moved and don't have internet on my PC yet so I'll look into this as
soon as possible. Thanks for the report

What I mean is that when I'm in persistent private browsing mode, HTTPS Finder
behaves as in the attached demo movie. However, when in normal private browsing
mode (Ctrl+Shift+P), HTTPS Finder doesn't prompt for anything.

Interesting.. I haven't been able to reproduce this.
There's a new version of HTTPS Finder that was just approved by Mozilla
yesterday (v0.69) - You can get it here:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/https-finder/
Can you try an upgrade and let me know if you still have the problem? And if
you do, what version of Firefox are you using?
Thank you

Updating the addon to v0.69 worked for me, now it works the same in "Private
browsing" as normal. One minor issue tough, the extension says "Tabs will be
saved" even if Fx is in private browsing mode (when tabs, of course, will not
be safed after closing the browser).

Glad to hear it's working again. I will change the restart prompt text
depending on whether or not the user is browsing in private mode. Thanks
