Sorry, I missed one importan point in the description... this only happens if
you focus on another tab while the alert is showing, otherwise the alert
timeout hides it. If you change focus, when you come back to the tab with the
autorefreshing page, you`ll find as many alerts as many times the page have
refreshed.
For example, that happenned to me here:

noce-problemas-de-liquidez-al-no-tener-un-inversor-estable.html

I haven't had time to test this, but it sounds similar to another bug that was
in a previous FF nightly (rather than the extension). Have you tried/are you
able to reproduce in FF5?
Also, when you say "refreshed/reloaded" more than once, do you mean when you
click on other links within the page? (I see that site has links pointing back
to http://eleconomista, even when on the https:// site). Otherwise HTTPS Finder
should only switch you from HTTP -> HTTPS once per http page.
Thanks

Now I've tried in FF5 with the same results.
3 more details:
- this happens when Automatically Enforce HTTPS When Available is unselected,
it happens for the Go to HTTPS alert
- it happens when I change focus to another tab while the alert is showing, not
to another window
- it happens overlapping the alert messages one on top of the previous one as
many times as the page autorefreshes
When I say refreshed/reloaded I meant that the page autorefreshed reloading the
whole page, not just a part of it, I'm not referring to the page links. And it
happened to me on other autorefreshing pages not just the one in the expample,
but this one have a pretty short timeout.

In the previous comment, when I say it happens after changing focus to another
tab, I meant, after that I can change to another window while keeping the same
effect, but to start it, I had to change focus to another tab in the same
window first.
