v1.20.1 causing browser to consume single core of CPU, script hangs #43

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Updated to v1.20.1
2. Started browser

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Browser should start, I get a message about a script not responding and request
to stop it.

What Master Password+ version?
v1.20.1

On what Firefox/Thunderbird version?
Waterfox v16.0.1

On what operating system?
Windows 7 x64

Please provide any additional information below.
I know this is for Waterfox, but if I revert back to v1.20 the browser starts
normally - I've never had this issue with any previous version of MP+ or
Waterfox. Problem still happens if it's the only enabled extension.

Never heard of Waterfox before...
Please test the attached version, see if that fixes it.

Thanks, that's sorted the problem :-)

Waterfox is an excellent 64bit compile of Firefox:

Unfortunately I wasn't able reproduce this issue on Waterfox on W7x64...So that
fix might not be the solution...

It is strange as it's certainly done something for me - weird!
