What Master Password+ version?
v 1.21.2

On what Firefox/Thunderbird version?

On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

I can't seem to reproduce it...

http://youtu.be/wnazVYObAXs

Although the MP+ in video is v1.22, it's almost identical to v1.21.2 at this
stage.

Do you have a list of all the default settings? I can go through and see what
else I may have changed.

It is 100% reproducible for me - perhaps another plugin is causing it:

adblock plus
bartab lite x
ghostery
https-everywhere
lastpass
logmein, inc. remote access plugin
restartless restart
session manager
stack alert

Still unable reproduce it (although I couldn't find https-everywhere and
logmein extensions)

Perhaps it's the theme you are using? Try on default theme and disable each
addon one-by-one with restarts as needed, testing it after each step. If this
bug reproducible with locked screen via hotkeys (ALT + K) it would speed up the
process of troubleshooting.
The default settings for MP+ you can be reset by copy/paste into address bar:
about:config?filter=extensions.masterPasswordPlus.
Right click on any settings that is in bold font and hit reset.

I won't be able fix it until I'm able reproduce it.

Thank you.

so let me confirm this:
1.it only affected non-default theme
2. it only occur after 10+ minutes of locked state (regardless of the method it
was locked with, manually or by timer)

do you have logout timer activated too? if so, will it affect the issue if you
disable it?

- There doesn't seem to be any specific issue with any addon I have or
alternate theme I use
- Time is also irrelevant
- After much non-prioritized testing, I have noticed that if I do NOT minimize
firefox, it locks and unlocks without any issue but if I DO minimize, after
locking and unlocking, it occurs
- Does not matter if I have auto-logoff enabled or not

It does affect default theme, try this out:
1. Make sure "Lock when minimize" is activated.
2. Minimize Firefox
3. Maximize it, enter password.

You should see it :)

I still can't reproduce it.

Try this:
1) close Firefox
2) In your Firefox profile find localstore.rdf rename it to localstore_old.rdf
3) start Firefox (it should reset all it's "view" settings and a new
localstore.rdf file should appear)
4) see if the problem still exist.
5) if the problem is gone, please attach your localstore_old.rdf for me to test
it with

After you done with this, to restore everything back close Firefox, remove
newly created localstore.rdf and rename localstore_old.rdf back to
localstore.rdf

Still happens even when renaming localstore.rdf

I just minimize and let it autolock - currently a 30 minute timer.

I turned off most other settings and don't have "lock when minimize" enabled.

Is there a trace I could give you? Looking into what is different between
minimized state and not when the lock &| unlock function gets called and what
it effects is all I can think of.

Also as I think I mentioned, right clicking the upper bar and clicking
"Customize..." resets the glitch moving the pinned tabs to the right removing
any overlap.

I have only icons being displayed (no text) and the small icons box checked in
that interface.

I have bookmarks and nav toolbar but no file menu bar. Opening the
"Customize..." menu interface shows the file menu bar so whatever is done there
fixes/resets the glitch. Maybe you can just emulate that behavior quickly on
unlock?

I can vouch for this problem. Fresh Firefox installation, installed Master
Password+, then I ticked "Lock on minimize", same problem.

I tried disabling/enabling options available in Master Password+, but still
keep "Lock on minimize" ticked on, default theme on Firefox, still got the same
problem. My way to fix the problem after entering the password is to resize
Firefox window.

I'm sorry, but I still can't reproduce it. If you can reproduce it on a
preferably fresh profile that you can share with me, please attach it here (zip
whole profile folder after making sure all passwords, history, etc cleared with
CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE)

Per your request, here is the zip file of the profile.

I created a new profile, installed Master Password+ 1.21.2, set Master
Password, changed settings in Options > Lock > Lock on minimize > All. Then I
did CTRL+SHIFT+DELETE, clearing everything.

Master password is "test" without quotes.

This also happened with me. However, now with Firefox 29 it separates the tab
bar and the top-right buttons (close, min, max) into two stacked bars.

I can get rid of it by double clicking the blank area to minimize (it becomes
the absolute tiniest size in the top-left corner of my screen) then double
clicking again.
